From Wonder to Meaningful Learning
Our Primary curriculum combines Montessori principles, Reggio Emilia-inspired project work, creative expression, nature-based learning, and multicultural studies. Children are encouraged to ask questions, pursue their interests, and become active participants in both their education and their classroom community.

Our Educational Approach
Spark Curiosity
A carefully prepared environment invites children to explore language, mathematics, science, geography, culture, practical life, and the natural world. Multicultural studies and Spanish language exploration opportunities help children develop an appreciation for different cultures, languages, traditions, communities, and new ways of experiencing the world around them.
Nurture Creativity
Children communicate their ideas through painting, sculpture, construction, storytelling, dramatic play, music, movement, and long-term projects. They are given the freedom to imagine, experiment, revise, and share their thinking rather than simply follow a predetermined example.
Cultivate Independence
Children choose purposeful work, initiate care for classroom materials, manage their belongings, and contribute to the daily life of the classroom. Practical-life experiences such as food preparation, serving, cleaning, and organizing help children build coordination, confidence, responsibility, and independence.
A Day in Our Primary Classrooms!
Focused Work & Discovery
Children begin the day with an uninterrupted work period—selecting Montessori materials and receiving individual or small-group lessons. Their chosen work may include language, mathematics, science, geography, multicultural studies, practical life, sensorial exploration, and multidisciplinary arts opportunities.
Projects, Provocations & Creative Expression
Teachers introduce thoughtful provocations and collaborative projects inspired by the children’s questions and interests. Children may conduct experiments, research a topic, construct a model, participate in dramatic play, or express their ideas through art, music, movement, storytelling, and design.
Practical Life, Nature & Community
Throughout the day, children prepare food, serve snacks, care for their environment, and participate in shared classroom responsibilities. Outdoor play in the mud kitchen, gardening, nature investigations, group songs, and community discussions strengthen independence, cooperation, and a sense of belonging.
